Boris @ Carré – Bill Withers Tribute

It has been already one month ago… On Saturday May 28th Boris performed at the Carré Theater in Amsterdam. The concert “A concert for Bill Withers: 40 years of great music!” was specially organized for Bill Withers, and he was guest of honor this evening.

Together with other famous musicians, Boris had the honor to sing a few songs of and for this legend.

It was an amazing night! Bill Withers himself, sat in the front row and really enjoyed the show. After the concert, he even went to the afterparty at Toko MC Amsterdam, which was very nice and where we jammed until the early hours.

Bill Withers is an icon. With songs such as Lovely Day, Ain’t No Sunshine and Just the Two Of Us, he scored worldwide hits. His amazing voice is so recognizable. It has been 40 years since Bill’s debut album Just As I Am was released.

This Saturday, May 28, I will be singing the songs of Bill together with other famous musicians at the Carré Theater.

Bill Withers is the guest of honour this evening. The program will be hosted by Leo Blokhuis.
